The Developmental Camp is a 4-day overnight camp open to players between the ages of 12 and 15. Our knowledgeable and energetic
staff will provide campers with specialized instruction covering all phases of the game, and games will be played to emphasize the
techniques learned in daily instruction. The 12-15 year old age group is a critical period in a players development. The skills developed
during these years will serve as the foundation for future development in high school and beyond. Players will leave this camp with new
skills and techniques to help take their game to the next level and begin to maximize their baseball potential.
Overnight campers will reside in the residence halls normally occupied by First-year undergraduate students of the University. The
University dining halls will be available for meals during the day, and food will be catered at the stadium each night for dinner. Commuters
will be provided lunch and dinner each day.
General Information
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats/spikes, hat, and any other equipment they
feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Helmets will be provided. Every camper in attendance will be given a
UVa Baseball T-Shirt to be worn during camp. However, all campers must bring their own baseball pants. If you have any questions
